PicPie

How to add and resize a PicPie widget on Android

Use PicPie’s Add a widget flow when supported, or add it from your Android Home Screen’s widget picker.

In this guide
  1. Add directly from your Pizza
  2. Use the phone’s widget picker
  3. Why the size label differs between phones
  4. Check the content separately from the size

Add directly from your Pizza

Open a Pizza and go to its settings, then its Home Screen widget section. On supported launchers, the Add a widget flow lets you choose a size and confirm adding it to your Home Screen. The selected Pizza is already known, so you do not need to start by selecting the group again.

Use the phone’s widget picker

If direct adding is unavailable, touch and hold an empty Home Screen area and open Widgets. Find PicPie, choose a widget and place it in a free area. Follow the Pizza selection screen if it opens. Open PicPie and sign in first if the picker has no Pizzas to show.

Why the size label differs between phones

Android launchers use different grids and spacing. A size label on one phone can differ from another even when the same widget is available. After adding it, touch and hold the widget and use the resize handles if your launcher provides them. PicPie keeps the Pizza square and aligned toward the top rather than stretching faces to fill a tall rectangle.

Check the content separately from the size

Resizing changes the available space, not your Pizza membership or photo visibility. If photos are missing, verify the selected group in PicPie before changing the layout. If only your own photo is missing, check the personal setting that controls whether your own photo is included.
