PicPie

Share photos on your friends’ Home Screens

Set up one shared Pizza for your closest people, then let everyone choose where to place it on their phone.

In this guide
  1. Start with the people, not the layout
  2. Create, invite, accept
  3. Share ordinary moments
  4. Keep control of what you see

Start with the people, not the layout

A shared widget works best when everyone knows who can see the photos. Pick one group, such as your best friends, family or partner, and give the Pizza a recognizable name. Separate Pizzas can help keep different circles apart. Sending a picture to your family should be a deliberate choice, not an accidental share to another group.

Create, invite, accept

Create a Pizza in PicPie and share its invitation with the people you want to include. A person using the invitation requests to join. The Pizza owner approves the request. After joining, each person can add that Pizza to their own Home Screen and send photos to the group. An invitation does not place a widget on someone else’s phone automatically.

Share ordinary moments

A coffee, a pet doing something funny or a view on the way home can be enough. The point is to see familiar people during your day without needing to compose a public post. Keep private documents and sensitive details out of photos, especially if a phone’s Home Screen is often visible to other people.

Keep control of what you see

PicPie includes personal visibility and notification controls. Hiding someone from your widget and muting their notifications solve different problems. Choose the visibility setting when you want to change the pictures you see, and notification settings when you want fewer interruptions.
